George Landrith, Dr. Joe Mangiacotti, Tom Donelson, and Kimberly Heckler discuss Margaret Heckler’s (1931-2018) political history as the first woman elected as a Republican to Congress, as one of the first female Cabinet Secretaries, and the United States’ Ambassador to Ireland. She was an advocate for women’s rights and civil rights. She was appointed by Ronald Regan to serve as the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
